Day 1

DAY 01: MADURAI

Upon Arrival at Madurai. Our representative receives You and takes you to your designated Hotel at Madurai. Later proceed on a sightseeing tour of Madurai. Visit the Meenakshiamman temple Overnight stay at hotel. Madurai is one of the oldest inhabited cities in the world. Situated beside the Vaigai river, it was the erstwhile capital of the Pandyan kingdom and the third-largest city of Tamil Nadu. There are a string of names given to this city - City of Junctions (Koodal nagaram), City of Jasmine (Malligai maanagar), Temple City (Koil maanagar), City That Never Sleeps (Thoonga nagaram) and City of Four Junctions (Naanmada koodal). Your Madurai trip will be incomplete without a trip to the Meenakshi Amman temple. It’s the greatest relic of Dravidian architecture and considered to be the place where Lord Shiva married Goddess Parvati. Day 2

DAY 02: MADURAI – RAMESHWARAM (175 KMS – 03 HOURS DRIVE)

After early breakfast check out from Hotel and drive to Rameshwaram, on arrival check into Hotel. Afternoon proceed for sightseeing of Rameshwaram - visit Ramanathaswamy Temple, Agnitheertham, Ramjharoka Temple, Dhanushkodi (Optional) and Adam’s Bridge (Optional). Overnight stay at the Hotel. The next leg of your trip will be the journey from Kodaikanal to Rameshwaram. Descending from the scenic hill station, you will enter one of the holiest places in India. A quiet and pristine town, Rameshwaram is one of the four Char Dham pilgrimages in the Hindu religion. As per legend, it’s believed that this is where Lord Rama built the bridge to Sri Lanka to rescue Sita. Evening watch the most beautiful Sunset of Kanyakumari. Overnight stay at the Hotel. Your second-last leg of the trip will be the journey from Rameshwaram to Kanyakumari. DAY 04: KANYAKUMARI – TRIVANDRUM (100 KMS – 03 HOURS DRIVE)

After breakfast check out from Hotel and drive to Trivandrum. Enroute visit the Sri Padmanabhapuram Palace, Also visit the Sri padmanabhaswamy Temple in Trivandrum which is the richest temple in the world, Museum etc and later drop to Kovalam. Overnight. Your final leg of the journey will be travelling from Kanyakumari to Trivandrum. Also known as Thiruvananthapuram, it was also given the name as the “Evergreen City of India” by Mahatma Gandhi. Idyllically located between the wide Arabian Sea and the green Western Ghats, it’s one of the iconic holiday destinations in India. Trivandrum goes back a long time in history and was an important centre of the Travancore empire.
